Avocado butter is suitable for all skin types, including babies, and can be used on its own or blended with other products. It's oil soluble, so it can't be used in water-only products, but it can be used in small amounts in water-based gels. It's also heat stable, so it can be used in the fat stage when making creams and lotions. You can add essential oils or natural fragrance oils to avocado butter, or leave it unscented.

Avocado butter, which comes from the ripe green pulp of avocados, is a versatile ingredient that can be used in cosmetics for many purposes: 

• Skincare: Avocado butter can be used in face masks, body balms, and after-sun care products. It can moisturize and nourish skin, smooth wrinkles, prevent aging, and add antioxidants. It can also be used in creams, lotions, and bar soaps to improve moisturization and soften dry skin. 

• Haircare: Avocado butter can be used to strengthen hair from the roots, add softness to dry hair, stimulate hair growth, and prevent hair loss. It can be added to hair conditioners in amounts of 2–5%. 

• Nail care: Avocado butter can strengthen and moisturize nails and cuticles.
