Carnauba wax is used as a hardener for other waxes and to raise the melting points of wax mixtures. It is also a component of furniture, leather, and shoe polishes. In the cosmetic and food industries, carnauba wax is added to formulations of lipsticks and balms and chewing gum.

Features

Because it creates a glossy finish, carnauba wax is used in automobile waxes, shoe polishes, dental floss, food products (such as sweets), polishes for musical instruments, and floor and furniture waxes and polishes, especially when mixed with beeswax and turpentine.
